  • Hello Xanga World!

Sorry it has been so long since updating my site.  I have been trying to get this done and one thing after another has happen and I have not been able to do it.  I have not stopped since we left for Bible Conference.  This year was the first time we have ever gone.  I will say that it was great and something I know we will do again.  From there we went to Florida (a Soldier from a few appointments ago was PTG and from there we traveled to Camp for our annual Family Camp, from there home to do a few things, and then a Soldier from here in Parkersburg was PTG.  We had her service on Saturday, and then on Tuesday I traveled to Baltimore.  I joined up with 13 other women and we flew out to Mexico for 8 days.  Had a great time down there getting to see what our division does for our children's homes.  (Please stop for a minute and say a special prayer for the officer, and staff in Mexico. They really go thur a lot). Came home and was home again for a couple of days and back on the road for Officer's Councils, at camp.  Great time with great people.  Came home and was home for a week, back to camp for our Youth Holiness Retreat.  Home for a few days and then on to Atlanta to see our son and other special Cadets.  Home for a day and my Aunt and Uncle came in to town for a short / brief visit.  (that all started August 19, 2007).  Now that I think everything is going to slow down it's time for Christmas and all that it will bring.  Bring it on, (hey that's a movie).

Well, I am suppose to be at the office so I need to get off here. Take care and God bless all my friends out there in Xanga World.

  • It's snowing again ...

I have a heavy heart for my friends and love ones down in Florida.  Chris called to tell me he is on his way to help those who are in need.  I know God will use him to meet the needs of all the people.

Now on to a brighter note ...

It's snowing and if you know anything about me you will know I love to see the snow.  We were only going to get about 1 inch but I think it's going to be more then that.  I let the dog out again so I could get pictures of him outside.  (I think he loves the snow more then I do).

Hope everyone is having a great week.  Take care.

  •      Well, we have snow and I am home to enjoy it.  As I was getting ready for Church this morning we had nothing at 8:45 am but by the time my husband made it home at 9:15 my van was cover with snow and the roads were starting to only look white.

This is the first snow fall since we moved back to West Virginia and with having a new puppy I could not wait to see him and how he would like it.  I have some pictures and will post them so you can enjoy seeing him have fun in the snow just as I was enjoying him.

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday.  God bless and keep each of you in his care.

His question to me is ... Do I really have to come in?  He has snow all over his face (I know it's hard to tell).

  • Let it snow

    Hello everyone,

Sorry it's been so long since I updated. Life in the Reckline household has been filled with a lot of first.  First Christmas season without our boys (that's been the hardest), first time to spend Christmas with Bob's side of the family. The list really could go on and on but I won't put you though that.  Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas and Happy New Year.  I know we did.

I have been praying for our friends who have been having ice storms.  I am not wanting ice, but if you all could please be so nice and send the SNOW.  I have been praying for it since we found out we were coming to West Virginia and everyone around us is getting snow and we are just getting the flurries.

Have a bless week and God bless
